Dave Sadler plays a custom Taylor T5 Thinline electric, and an Alvarez-Yairi DY62C acoustic/electric, both fitted with phosphor bronze strings by D'Addario. Other guitars used by Dave include an Alvarez-Yairi CY127CE acoustic flamenco, an Ernie Ball Musicman Axis electric, and a 4-string Fender Jazz Bass.
Amplification includes a Line 6 Flextone III, and a Genz-Benz Shenandoah. Effects include an assortment of Boss effects including the RC-2 Loop Station, PS-5 Super-Shifter, BD-2 Blues Driver, CS-3 Compression Sustainer, DS-1 Distortion, CE-5 Chorus Ensemble; Dr-880, and DR-3 Rhythm Machines. Studio recording tools include a 16 track Yamaha AW16G digital workstation, and Adobe Audition 2.0 software.
